The migration typically arrives in the Masai Mara in July and stays until late October. However, Kenya is a year-round destination with excellent resident wildlife viewing outside these months.
Kenya is now visa-free but requires an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) applied for online at least 3 days before travel. Our team assists all guests with this process.
Bush flights have a strict 15kg (33lb) limit in soft-sided bags. We can arrange for excess luggage storage at your arrival hotel in Nairobi.

The Kenya Shilling (KES) is the local currency. However, US Dollars (printed after 2013) and credit cards are widely accepted in all luxury establishments.
Usually 3-4 hours, departing at sunrise and again in the late afternoon. Full-day drives with picnic lunches are also common during migration season.
We advise against drinking tap water. All our luxury lodges provide unlimited bottled or filtered mineral water for drinking and brushing teeth.
For migration season (July-Oct), we recommend booking 10-12 months in advance. For other periods, 6 months is usually sufficient to secure top-tier lodges.
