Day 1: Arrive Nairobi, drive to Aberdare (4 hrs/ 195Kms)

On arrival at the Nairobi airport, you will be met by our airport representative and drive to Aberdare and check in for some rest and take lunch. The Ark is famous for wildlife viewing from the lodge itself at the flood receding waters where the animals come for Salt lick and the in house staff gives updates by bell ringing based on wildlife coming to the salt-lick. You also have option of exploring a game drive if you wish. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Wildlife at Aberdare

On Today day free to explore wilderness of Aberdare from The Ark or you can choose to set out in the park and explore the wildlife. Day planned for wilderness as per your convenience.Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Samburu, safari (4.5 hrs / 200 Km) 
Today morning check out after having breakfast and drive to Samburu, situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the Beisa oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five). The reserve is also home to elephants and large predators such as the lion, leopard and cheetah. ‘Kamunyak’, the miracle lioness that adopted the baby oryx was a resident in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Samburu.

Day 4 & 5: Samburu safaris
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives at Samburu. Dinner and overnight at Samburu game reserve.

Day 6: Drive to Ol Pejeta, safari (3.5 hrs drive/ 152 Km)

Today enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge as we start the drive to Ol Pejeta. Arrive by afternoon, post-check-in, have lunch and then proceed for an afternoon game drive at the famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Later return back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ol Pejeta.

Day 7: Safaris at Ol Pejeta

Today we set our for a full day game drive Ol Pejeta is one of the prime sanctuaries of Laikipia Plateau and all of the Big Five are present. Its highlights include the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa; a population of southern white rhino; a refuge for the last two northern white rhino left in the world; and Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, housing orphaned and abandoned chimpanzees (visit entrance payable directly, if any).
Ol Pejeta Conservancy offers excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities. All of the Big Five are here and sightings of both black rhino and white rhino are common. It has some of the highest predator densities in the region, and aside from the big cats, there is a chance of seeing wild dogs. Other endangered species here include the Beisa oryx, Jackson’s hartebeest and Grevy’s zebra.

Day 8: Drive to Laipika, (200Kms/ 4 hrs drive)

After Breakfast checkout and drive to Laipika for the black panther

Overnight: at Laipika Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner 


Day 9: Safari and transfer to Nairobi Airport, (200Kms/ 4 hrs drive)

We set out early morning with packed breakfast for a game drive, return back to the lodge, in time check out and drive to Nairobi, followed by transfer to the International airport.

If time permits, you may enjoy sightseeing of Nairobi visiting Giraffe centre (entrance payable directly) and Sarit centre mall for shopping opportunity.
